FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
All About Wine
How to Store Wine Without a Wine Cellar?
We make our wines as natural and vibrant as possible, without aggressive filtration or pasteurization. It’s important to take good care of them.
Bottles should be stored lying down, in a dark, cool-to-moderate-temperature place that isn’t too humid and, above all, free from sudden temperature fluctuations.
What is the aging potential?
The wines are ready to drink, but they can be cellared for another 2 to 3 years.
Why does a cork sometimes seem fragile and break when you open the bottle?
The corks in our red wine bottles are made of all-natural cork of the highest quality. This allows for the micro-breathing necessary for the wine to age properly in the bottle. Uncorking a bottle with a natural cork is a two-step process: first, screw the cork halfway out; after pulling that half out of the neck, simply give it a few more turns and pull out the rest.
Should you aerate wine?
This is not recommended; the wines are at just the right age to be enjoyed. However, you may decant the Liquid Fire red wine very carefully to separate any sediment that may be present at the bottom of the bottle. (This sediment is the result of a natural process and is a sign of the wine’s normal aging.)
Ideal serving temperature?
Liquid Fire Red 16°–18°
Liquid Fire White 10°–13°
What is the alcohol content?
Liquid Fire Red, 14.5% alcohol
Liquid Fire White, 13.5% alcohol
Are the wines vegan?
Our wines contain no additives of any animal origin.
Are the wines organic?
The 2018 vintage is the first to be grown entirely according to the principles of organic farming. (The administrative commitment was formalized in a contract in May 2019.)
What is the difference between red wine and white wine?
Red wine is made from red grape varieties, while white wine is made from white grape varieties. The processes of extraction, fermentation, and aging are also very different.
